Darlene Rempel B.H.K., Certified Pedorthist (Canada)
With a Bachelor in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor, Darlene worked in the physiotherapy field as a Clinical Kinesiologist for five years prior to her Pedorthic endeavours. Having an aptitude for leadership, problem solving and hands on work, combined with a desire to specialize and focus on lower limb mechanics her interest in the field of Pedorthics was sparked.
Darlene has contributed to the Pedorthic Association of Canada on the Professional Development Committee, authored a Chapter in the 2012 Clinical Practice Guidelines for Pedorthist, and is a member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada.
As Chief Clinician and owner at Foot By Foot Inc. in Woodstock, she enjoys the challenges of lower limb sport injuries, having played at the Provincial and University levels herself, but also appreciates the importance of proper footwear and support to the average foot. She is a consultant to Physiotherapy clinics in Guelph and Brantford
Darlene enjoys an active life filled with a variety of sports and activities including; volleyball, mountain biking, ultimate frisbee, slo-pitch to name just a few. It wouldn't be unlikely to catch Darlene hiking or biking the trails with her young family.
Jane Cromwell - Certified Pedorthist (Canada)
Jane is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist, who began her pedorthic career in 1993 working in the Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford area. She is skilled in all areas of Pedorthics and is committed to provide the best in patient care. She integrates quality of care with communication, compassion and emphasizes patient education
Although Jane enjoys treating all foot and ankle conditions and sports injuries, she realized early in her career she had developed a particular interest to help those people who suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Diabetes. In 1997 Jane was involved in Jannsen-Ortho Regranex Gel clinical trials helping to off load the diabetic neuropathic ulcers with orthotics and customized footwear.
Through the years Jane has been involved as a practicum site supervisor, passing on her knowledge to students from the Diploma of Pedorthics program through the University of Western Ontario. Jane is a long time member of the Pedorthic Association of Canada and a member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada.
Michelle McCrory - B.Sc (kin), - Certified Pedorthist (Canada)
Michelle graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1990 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology/Recreation. She received her Canadian Certification in Pedorthics in 1992. She has been in Pedorthic practice for the past 22 years and continues to be most interested in sports medicine.
Michelle has served on the Certification Committee with the Pedorthics Association of Canada in the past and has been an instructor for the Pedorthics Program at the University of Western Ontario Continuing Studies for the past 2 years.
Michelle continues to be active in basketball, volleyball and slo-pitch and enjoys playing all sports with her husband and two daughters.
Tammy Pasek - Office Administrator and Fitter
Tammy has joined our team and has over twenty years of experience in the medical field. She has worked as a certified PSW in nursing homes, and as a Medical Office Assistant. She enjoys the challenge of assisting and providing solutions for clients of differing needs and has a cheery and calm demeanor. Fitting braces and compression garments is a new skill for Tammy but her input gives a new and fresh perspective to the retail aspect of the Woodstock store.
Tammy enjoys being outdoors at the lake and boating with her family and friends.
SAMANTHA SABOL – Office Administrator
Samantha has close to 20 years management experience in the retail industry. She has had the opportunity to manage retail stores, with an emphasis on driving sales and team development.In addition, she has managed a complex sales region in order to achieve company goals.
Having attained her goals in the retail industry, she turned her attention to the health care industry. During the last 10 years, Samantha has managed administration aspects of a multi-disciplinary & Pedorthist clinic. Samantha is currently involved in the daily administrative duties of the office as she fields patient inquiries and schedules appointments.
Her interests include personal fitness, reading, badminton, cooking, and spending time with her husband and her two lovely cats.
